Help Send Our Youngest Sailors to the International Opti Regatta & TOTE Clinic

Big experiences for small sailors.

A Big Opportunity for Small Sailors

The St. Croix Youth Sailing Association is proud to support the next generation of Virgin Islands sailors — and we need your help to get them there.
This June, our youngest athletes (ages 8–12) will travel to St. Thomas to participate in the International Optimist Regatta (IOR) and the TOTE Training Clinic, a week-long, world-class youth sailing experience.
They will train with top youth sailing coaches and compete alongside elite young sailors from around the globe, building confidence, skills, and independence at a critical stage in their development.

Why This Matters

For our Opti sailors, this event is a foundational milestone:
Builds confidence, resilience, and independence
Develops seamanship and racing fundamentals
Teaches teamwork, sportsmanship, and discipline
Introduces international competition early
These young sailors represent the future of Virgin Islands sailing, and experiences like this help set the course for everything that comes next.

Join Us in Making Big Dreams Possible

Together, we can give these young sailors the chance to grow, compete, and represent the Virgin Islands with pride.
The St. Croix Youth Sailing Association is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, and all donations are tax-deductible.

Who You’re Supporting

Our Optimist sailors are young, dedicated, and eager to learn.
Hence, we are raising funds to cover travel, lodging, equipment shipping, team gear, regatta costs, and coaching & clinic support for our young sailors.

Youth. First and Always.
